David,
My comments were posted within the past week or two in response to an
inquiry about Bryce's seminars, so they are quite recent. Since the message
traffic has been quite space, I would wonder if you are a regular reader. I
can't remember your contributing anything to this list other than occasional
information on your/Bryce's seminars and software.
Unlike Bryce, I do not go around initiating attacks on people. At the time I
made the inquiry, Bryce's product was DOS based and would not run
effectively under the only Windows operating system (Windows NT) which was
reliable enough to consider using to run a trading business. I indicated
that I no longer used or purchased DOS based products and inquired if/when
he planned to provide a Windows based version. I made no attack on Bryce or
his software. In return, I was subjected to a tirade about Windows, was
attacked personally for using Windows, and was told that I was an
incompetent trader. It does not matter if it was "Bryce's Baby", the
inquiries were legitimate, I was performing due diligence on a product
costing many thousands of dollars, and the tirade and attack was uncalled
for and unprovoked.
Just to be clear, I would advise any individual considering purchase of
training or trading product from Bryce Gilmore to consider carefully the
character of Bryce Gilmore himself. Specifically, does this individual have
a history of savagely attacking people on newsgroups and exhibiting
excessive ego and is that the kind of individual who is likely to provide a
good example for successful training and trading?
David, you can shadow box with this issue all you want now, I have either
made my point or not.

Earl,
I did not realise you had commented on Bryce Gilmore
in the recent past and I hope this does not go into a saga.
I believe that both Bryce and yourself were over the top
with that incident. His point was that his software does what
it does and does not have to be high tech rocket propelled
latest Win XXVSOP model as it does what it was set out
>From my perspective you seemed to have a problem with the
architecture the software wanted to live in - Bryce programmed
a very good technical piece of trading software that works
well on most operating systems (just not Win NT) for the markets.
And you were not exactly cool about the way you did it.
The main functional operating issue you had with it was resolved.
>From a marketing perspective your point was correct Bryce would
sell more Wavetrader software if it worked on all machines.
What you fail to realise is its Bryce's baby and he does not really
care if people buy it or not - do you see him selling it in TASC and
Bryce came at it from a trading perspective and you both squared off
at each other - ad naseum!
So, yes Bryce went at you - but you have also went at Bryce and his baby.
Maybe you didn't understand that you were not working with a typical
corporate sales driven style person. Not a good event - but you didn't see
the real Bryce Gilmore.
Anyway, enough said.

David, had you stuck to the facts about Bryce I might have let my original
comments lie. However your "FIRM but FAIR" comment coupled with the
implication that Norman Winski is one of the few people who take issue with
Bryce's behavior was too much to stomach.
I dealt with you and Bryce as a result of interest in his product. I was
abused and insulted by Bryce for asking some pointed questions about his
product for which he wanted many thousands of dollars. That was not enough
.... Bryce continued his personal attacks when I was clearly no longer
interested in doing business with a person of his ilk. I am far from the
only person to whom this has happened .. Bryce's ill mannered attacks,
tantrums, and abuse are legendary. So is Bryce's habit of masquerading under
various pseudonyms to widen his attacks. He may be a trading genius, however
he lacks a great deal as a human being and as a businessman.
Frankly, I can not imagine a person with such an ego being a great trader or
teacher as both require some degree of humility.
