BOVI- Initially discussed at $.80 to $1.00 is now moving to the $2.00
range based upon product acceptance and the hint of earnings. Volume has
increased 5 fold. Sold half my position and keeping the rest for the long
haul.
VXGN- Initially discussed in the $20's and now under $5.00. At the time it
was the only company with an AIDS vaccine in Phase lll trials. I did not
have the courage to get in it but at these levels it may be of interest to
the daring. Phase lll added trials will be done soon. I have made money on
it selling Puts. They recently made a private placement at close to $5.00
per share.
INSM- Developmental company selling around $2.50. They have a patent on
SomatoKine which has gained Orphan Approvalm status for a growth hormone
deficiency. Of greater importance is the possible utility of SomatoKine to
decrease insulin needs. They recently raised $13,000,000 at a price in
excess of $3.00 per share and gave these investors options to purchase
more in the $4.00 price range.
NEXM- Has had good success developing a cream to be topically applied to
the Glans Penis for Erectile Dysfunction, thus sidestepping the many side
effects of Viagra. It was discussed around $2.50 and now around $4.00.
