Hi to all,
found the following FREE products to be extremely effective:
SpamPal (http://www.spampal.org) catches nearly 100% of spam mails. I had
used several other commercial spam filters before, but found this free one
to be the best. Can be combined with Bayesian filter K9
(http://www.keir.net/k9.html). I did not find it necessary to do this,
though.
SpyBot (http://security.kolla.de/). Amazing how much spyware this thing gets
rid of. My thanks to Mark Jurik who had recommended this product some time
ago.
SpywareBlaster (http://www.wilderssecurity.net/). I use it concurrently with
SpyBot, as recommended by its (SpyBot's) creator.
