these lines are simply Clyde Lee's Hurst projections
advdec down with a small bounce and then down again
(an 89 period MA of the adv-dec is the fat green and red)
& VIX projected slightly up over these next few days
the idea is to take some action when the "price" moves to extremes
But really, I thought Ira's post was an attempt at humor so I was
trying to divert the conversation from the downhill path it was taking

I think you have a couple of Gugenheim candidates there. It is nice when
folks
post their charts. It is even nicer when they post their charts and give
some interpretation of what they think the charts mean or instruction on how
to read the charts, such as when the red chicken gets to the blue chicken
coop means that the market is about to crack.
