Is there some trick to getting option fills?
I have just started to trade options and am using Interactive Brokers. When
I put my limit order in to buy @ the ask was at 3.10. I did not get a fill
and then the ask went down to 2.90. Still no fill, and then when it went
to 3.2, I got a fill at 3.1.
IB has no particular explanation other than that I got what I wanted so why
did I have a problem? I bought one contract. as an experiment. Could
that have been the problem?
