Perhaps one compromise is to use longer lengths of
the data1 period.  For example, there are eighty one five minute bars in
the day session of the snp. 12 X 6.75 = 81

  Bob and Clyde,

thanks for sharing this. if you don't mind one
question and one remark for the people who want more infos about
  this.

question: could it be that it's not possible to
draw the indicator twice on the same chart from different timeframes with
  trendline mode?
I can only let it draw trendlinie mode
intraday data and on the same chart ( hidden daily data) the plot method with
the daily data. or do I just overlook something?

remark: I saw an article in TASC July
98 describing this indicator ( there may be more articles but this is the
  one I found)

  regards Carsten

    Bob (and lists),

The attached  .txt  file is the code
for the   .ela   that is attached.

The  .gif  files show the use of the
    original "plot" version and the
    modified "trendline" version.

Hope folks enjoy this as it is an excellent
    trend indicator.

It can be easily modified to look only for
    longer trends.

      It is the FibonacciTrader Triple
Switch.  I translated it and Clyde recoded it as he always
does.  I should check with him to see if he has any problems with
publishing his version.  I'll ask him and let him post it so he can
      get some free advertising.
