It is a bit complicated.
For the projected zone the cyclic lengths should be exactly
as specified.
Now for history. The phase and amplitude for each of the
components is calculated every day and the resultant
"projection" for that day is made using the calculated
phase and amplitude. Since we are sliding along in time
we are changing our data set to be analyzed in the hopes
of being able to adapt to the latest behavior of the market.
Doing this will cause ALL of the individual components
to stretch and shrink (time wise and maybe amplitude wise
also) dependent on the market.
In this particular case we are using 5 cycle lengths before
each point in time to calculate the phase and amplitude.
