I was seeing a broadening top and broadening bottom
on the 30 minute bars. They had to be scrunched up in order to show the
formation. Bulkowski in "Encyclopedia of Chart Patterns" discusses
megaphones at length. What you see as squiggly lines, someone else sees as
a potential short trade. Dropping down to 5 minute bars with a weak tape
is how I saw the trad this morning.
