  Kate,

if I'm correct Tom Bierovic uses different MACD
parameters in his trading strategies, EOD and intraday. But I don't know
which timeframe intraday only the same parameters through all frames.

Maybe you will find some more infos on
his webside  synergytrader.com

  regards Carsten

Well, I am currently referring to 13 minute bars, but I wondered if there
was a general rule where the parameters are a multiple of the time bar.
It may have to be tweaked somewhat but I am looking for a starting point.
The factory type defaults are o.k., when using a daily bar but not sensitive
to any smaller timeframe.

TIA

Forgot to add question. Like most indicators it depends on what time
frame you're trading.
