I have both the book and the software (from DOS days) and have
for a long time said I'd look at the triangles thing.

Well, your illustration was an excellent "push" for me to do
something because I did not believe his figures in the book about
what % worked and did not.

Now I'll start some real investigations of triangles based on
number of bars for pivot detection, number of bars in triangle,
and angle of triangle lines.

The attached should illustrate to most what you meant by what
triangles are valid for price movement evaluation.  This one has
practically no limits on length and angles.
