EOD data is "trivial" -- an easy place to get it
is from Yahoo finance:

^dji is the DOW
^spx is S&P500
You can go back many years, if you like.
Hope this helps.
Now, if I could get intraday data (for even just the S&P)
for multiple years w/out costing an "arm and a leg" that
would be nice .....
