Hi
Ray,
<SPAN

I
can see your point; OptionVue has its price. I am aware of the sites that you
mention in your posts once in a while, and pretty much know what is out there on
the internet for the options trader, and yet...
<SPAN

<SPAN
class=028393611-20032003>Nothing that I saw on the net equals the power,
versatility, and easy handling that OptionVue offers. Plus they also
have very reliable, well maintained option data, current as well as historical,
which you can bring up in an ingenious way so that you can see several
chains at one glance in the "Matrix". And that includes not only prices, but
also the Greeks, several volatility projections, the probability for each
individual option to expire in the money, and many other
things.

How
do I use historical option data in my trading? I like to compare how the
underlying behaved in  patterns comparable to a current situation. It is
very instructive to follow the way volatilities changed in real time which
may be very different from the theoretical projections I would otherwise have to
rely on.

Hope
this gives you an idea. Again, I have no connections with OptionVue, and during
the twelve or so years that I have been their customer I never received any
discount or remuneration from them, with the exception of one coffee mug.
:-)

Best
wishes,

  Hi Michael,

I have resisted purchasing OptionVue for years
since I can find what I need for trading for much less or free else
ware.  How do you use their historic data in your trading?

  Good luck and good trading,

  Ray
