You are cordially invited to hear Dean Hoffman, the developer of the
Synergy and Checkmate trading systems, speak at the University of
Texas- Austin campus on March 11, 2003.
Dean Hoffman is President and founder of Strategic Trading Systems,
Inc. His background in the futures industry extends back almost 15
years. In the early 90's he began what ended up being a full-blown 10-
year research project into commodity trading systems. This is a
wonderful opportunity for traders to see what Dean's research has
produced.
· First, Dean will be talking about non-optimized (non curve-
fitted) systems trading across large portfolios. He will also discuss
money management strategies and position sizing approaches.
· Next, Dean will review Trading Recipes, software created to
give traders the ability to learn, simulate, and manage the job of
portfolio trading. Dean will also review the Monte Carlo simulation,
which generates values for uncertain variables over and over to
simulate a model.
· Finally, Dean will review his publicly offered trading
systems: Checkmate and Synergy Trading Systems. Both systems are
independently monitored on a single contract basis by Futures Truth
Inc. Synergy ranks #1 in the Dollar Index trading since release date
and #1 in the Euro Currency since release date in their December 2002-
January 2003 issue.
