Thanks guys,

I will pass on the info.  He is not even a
trader.  We just moved into the neighborhood and when he found out
that I trade full time he has visions that he can buy some cheap software
from the web and attempt to do the same.  Needless to say I am trying to
discourage him.  With any luck I can persuade him to use some of the free
resources from the web and just spend some time researching before taking the
plunge (if that's what he REALLY wants to do).

Non-traders see the "easy money" but what they
don't see is how DIFFICULT it is to make the easy money.   Maybe I'll
show him some of my account statements from 10yrs ago..... That'll spook
him  :)

Regards,

Essan.

  I
wouldn't pay more than $50US for Super Charts. You can purchase TS4 for
$200-250 with its testing capapibilities but TS4 is no longer supported
  either.

    Essan,

No, SC 4.0 does not require a security
    block.
It is however an abandoned product and is no
    longer supported by the vendor.
Unless your friend can get it REAL cheap I
    would pass.
I used SC 4.0 and switched to Ensign when Omega
    abandoned the SC customer base.
Ensign is a great product and the service after
the sale (lease actually) is excellent.

      Hello,

      My neighbor is considering the
purchase of a used copy of "SuperCharts 4.0 End of Day" and wants to
know if it requires a "security" block (dongle?) to run properly.  I
have never used omega products so I am unable to help.

Can anyone help with this one
      please?

      Thanks.
