Kent,
There is one rub to your Chinese theory. Much of the Chinese growth is
based on free market capitalistic principles. A free economy will lead to
demands for a free and democratic form of government. This may take 100
years for 1.2 billion people to become literate and affluent enough to rule
themselves. However, when it does occur, China will over take the US.
Raymond Wheeler's 510 year cycle for hemispheric rule is completed for the
West and now its time for the East to rise and dominate the world. The last
great hurrah for the US will be 2016 - 2076. These cycle patterns and
current demographic patterns dictate that you instruct your children to
learn Spanish and your grandchildren to learn Chinese.
Regards,
Norman
