I find the "humor" offensive. I've not been in favor of attacking Iraq, in
large measure because I believe the post-battle political plans are poorly
laid if they exist at all. However I find it interesting that Saddam
threatens to annihilate our troops, intimating that he will use the very
weapons he claims not to be hiding.
What is obvious is that the decision has been all but made and it is now the
lives of American sons, daughters, wives, husbands, mothers and fathers
which are on the line. I wish them success and a safe return.
