Microsoft released its first cumulative patch of the year, correcting two Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities which affect Internet Explorer 5.01, 5.5 and 6.0. These XSS flaws allow hackers to read your local files and cookies, to impersonate you on a third party Web site, or to execute malicious code on your machine.
