Hi John,
I agree with Norman, but think some of those stocks
bear watching. I am particularly interested in ELBO. If you look at
the attached chart you will see that Stochastic spent a fair amount of time
below 20 then recovered, indicating that it had been oversold. In addition
MACD has turned positive from below -3, indicating that buyers are coming
in, though not in great amounts as indicated by OBV at -15. I will
watch this to see if price, as indicated by the 3 line EMA reversing, is
consistently improving. This is the kind of pattern I like since it often
results in a strong move up.
When that happens I would either take a covered
call position (buy the stock and sell and out of the money call) if there
is good news regarding earnings, which have been weak recently. Or,
if there is no positive news, a bull spread position, based on the chart pattern
alone, which would limit potential losses. Negative news,
earnings, etc. would negate the chart.
Several of the others are in a similar situation
and bear watching also. You can chart them for free at <A
href="">www.bigcharts.com Your initial
screening is valid as a starting point. However as Norman said "the chart
tells all" (well, almost all). Check then daily, watch for news, and wait
for an entry point and you will be ahead of 90% of the crowd.
Good luck and good trading,
Ray Raffurty

or the list below are lacking in a good basing action on the weeklyand
monthly charts that would indicate a major low has been established.
Alow PE and earnings growth is not enough. The chart knows
all.Regards,Norman----- Original Message
