I do not believe I posted what was mentioned but I did have a similar
concept worked on.

1. Uses 30 min bars of Advancing NYSE issues

2. Uses 30 min bars of Declining NYSE issues

3. Uses 30 min bars of the S&P 500 futures

4. Has built in a 7/17 day moving average cross to establish a trend

5. Must stay in that trend for at least 3 days after established to
enter a trade via a 6 hr moving average cross of the Advancing /
Declining issues.

6. It has a profit target and a trail.

It chops out a number of bad trades. It was formulated on 2000, 2001
and 2002 data and retrograde back tested for '98 and'98...showing
profitability for 5 years.

It averaged about $70,000 per year...but is not nearly as good as
what Ben has developed...and not tested realtime like his. It is in
the process of being evaluated in a walk forward.

I will be happy to share it if it looks decent realtime...but the
particulars are noted above...and there are people a lot smarter than
I on this list who can improvise on this.

John
