Hi Clyde,

I was very impressed when I found it.  I
remember purchasing "Wall Street Access" software 5 or 6 years ago for about
$1000.00 plus data feed and it was not capable of screening !!!

I have only been fooling around with it for a few
days, but find it very easy to use.  I like to combine indicators such as
stochastic with MACD, then throw in a volume filter and a stock price
range.  You can type in the parameters or cut and paste them, then
save the combination to use later.  you can then scan the entire stock
market for stocks that meet these combined  indicators.  It has a
limited back testing ability, which I really haven't done much with
yet.

It's strength, using straight forward English is
probably also it's weakness.  Without being able to handle mathematic
formulas it's programming ability will always be limited.  It would be
interesting to see what can be done with it's programming though.  The
free software is version 1.0 Bata so there should be much more development in
the future.

Let me know if you do any programming with
it.

Good luck and good trading,

Ray Raffurty

I don't give a damn what software you have to
  screen stocks
(and I have some very good ones) this thing for
  $8.95 a month is
unbelievable if you think conventional type
  indicators can be used
(and I do) to help select stocks.

Do not see how anyone can afford not to have this
  one.

Thanks Ray for the pointer ! ! !

    Hi all RT's,

Some of you may be interested in a stock
screener that uses popular technical analysis formats, but can't afford or
can't justify the costs of the major software programs and data
feeds.  If you need a programmable TA screener for stocks (end of
    day only) check out <A
    href="">http://www.stockfetcher.com/stockdb/fetcher
The cost is just $8.95 per month, but appears to be a terrific value.
    I have no affiliation.

    Good luck and good trading,
