Yes; but I think one can borrow only from variable
life policies. It does enable one to control one's
tax bracket; albeit on a limited basis. There
are also unforseen risks vis a via future tax policies
if the current structure changes. It could be
a windfall; or it could be a curse. There are also some
very interesting tax savings possibilities re the
loan features you describe. Often; they can be tax
free.
