Fidelity Silver Level Commissions
Silver level pricing offers significant savings off our Bronze level
commission schedule. To qualify, a household2 must meet any of the following
criteria:
. $100,000+ in assets
. $30,000+ in assets and 36+ trades in a rolling 12-month period.
. No asset minimum and 72+ trades in a rolling 12-month period.
$14.95 for the first 1,000 shares plus $.015 for each additional share over
1,000 shares. Limit and stop orders are $5.00 premium per transaction for
the first 72 trades in a rolling 12-month period. No additional charge for
the 73rd trade and over.
Compare this to Interactive Brokers: $0.01/500 shares, $0.005 for shares
over 500 and no surcharge for stop and limit orders. Option orders are also
ridiculously cheap ... something like $1 each for deep in money SPX LEAP
Puts and less for lower priced options. Minimums are so low they are of no
consequence. Last I looked, IB also pays higher rate on cash balances over
$10k than Fidelity money market on balances over $25k
