Trey-
    Just for the record, after
reading your message, I changed my option in OE to "more restrictive" so that it
will not automatically run scripts.  If your OE was already set that way,
then that would have had no affect on this message.
    Anyway, enough already.
I was baffled this morning when I couldn't get anything out of OE, and I still
don't understand the connection, but it works now.
    Good trading, and thanks for
the response.

  It
was a message from Ray Rufferty, Selling uncovered puts. The message contained
an option spreadsheet which apparently had a number of scripts in it that
caused problems in OE.  The error message kept referring to URLs. After
clicking "no" many, many times,  the spreadsheet finally appeared, but I
continued to get the error message. Finally deleted it. It seems that
there was a default setting in windows that auto ran scripts. Some of the
viruses and worms traveling around the web were designed to take advantage of
this. I turned mine off to prevent this. Maybe this is why I kept getting the
error message. I don't know, but this is just a guess. Anyone have any
  ideas?

        One of the messages that
I downloaded from realtraders on Monday night appeared to cause Outlook
Express to malfunction.  Reading the message itself generated a series
of error messages.  Furthermore, OE got server related errors when I
tried to access my other e-mail accounts.  I deleted all Monday night's
messages and the problem went away.
        Anybody that is having
the problem that I had probably won't get this message, but in the unlikely
event that this is useful, the solution was to delete Monday's
messages.  Unfortunately, I don't know which one was the guilty
    party.

      Subject: [RT] Answer my friend
      Well all ... I
have a friend who wrote me and asked that I pose his question to this
list since I have told him there are some MM's here and other floor
officials.  So, here is a cut a paste of his question."So Bob
.. ask them for me why it is when I look at level II I see almost all
100 share amounts to buy and sell.   I want to know how someone
can be selling or buying all those tiny lots and paying commissions
and still making a dime?  I can see the floor trader showing a
100 lot just as a "floor" or "ceiling" but I see a heck of a lot of
100 share lots passing by and just can't figure out why or who or how
so how about asking your list?"So, who would like to answer my
pal?    I started to but then decided that we have
people here who can do a better job than I
      could.BobTo unsubscribe from this group,
