The way that program works is that 
it scans the Dow chart and records swings which 
have occurred since <FONT 
face=Arial size=2>1921 -- something in the order of more than100 based on 
the monthly
chart.
 
As you can imagine, what has happened 
since this was posted would have little if any
effect on the results.  It is 
interesting to note that recently I did a Fourier study of the same
data and that came up with 12/31 rather 
than the near 9/30 this gave.  Big difference
though.  In this study a very 
select criteria was used which attempted to find prior swings
that fit current market conditions and 
not just an analysis of all data points as the Fourier
does.
 
The answer to your question, yes this 
study is still valid ! !  Whether it is correct as a
prediction is another matter -- time 
will tell.
