Sounds to me like you were railroaded. They were on the wrong track
When that happens, it's time to switch. Kudos to you. You delivered your
passengers safely.
As for me, I had a nice red and black switcher engine and a bright red
Texas Special engine. Nothing better than turning on the trains and turning
off the room lights while the trains light the way. Its hypnotic!
WoooooWoooo! Believe it or not, I still have them.

P.S. When I was 8 I got my first lionel train. They included a free share of
Lionel stock.
I wonder if that's worth anything now?
