Best Short- Term Trade (September 6th, 2002) Dear John,   We are glad that you are continuing to use our service and we would like to help our users better understand our system of predicting the us indexes and their derivatives by delivering to you samples of recent short, mid, and long term trades. These charts should help you better understand our system of predicting the market by way of volume analysis.
Market Commentary Market Stage:Today the Nasdaq 100 and S&P 500 indexes finally reacted on all the supportive volume they have been accumulating over the past week. Today there was more supportive volume in the morning and afternoon which leads us to think this long- term uptrend will continue with only a slight chance of correction. (09/06/2002)Market Status:This morning the Nasdaq 100 and S&P 500 indexes opened a lot higher, and they continued on an uptrend throughout the day. In the morning there was a fair bit of supportive volume, and as well in the afternoon towards close. The supportive volume we saw today by far outweighs any resistive volume to the upside, and due to this we believe the markets will continue on this trend with only a slight chance of correction. Even if the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 indexes do move lower, they will encounter a great deal of supportive volume, which, in the end, will cause these indexes to move higher and continue their current uptrend until there is sufficient resistive volume to the upside to cause a directional chance in the indexes. Today was good news for mid and long term long traders, as the cumulative effects of volume over the past week almost ensure a speedy recovery to the short-term correction we have been experiencing. (09/06/2002)Recommendations:We do not currently advise anyone to keep short positions open unless they are skilled at intraday scalping, as the market will most likely continue on an upwards trend. There is always a chance of a short-term correction during an uptrend, but these tend to be short lived as they go against the market's uptrend. (09/06/2002)

Best Short-Term Trade (Septmber 6th, 2002) This week our professional trader was able to capitalize on our volume signals for the S&P 500 index.

Security Return Call 1 (SPX Nov) Holding Call 2 (SPX Nov) Holding Call 3 (SPX Nov) +17.52% Call 4 (SPX Nov) +17.52% Total Profit: +$8,320 Even though all the above trades were not entirely without risk, we came out on top with a profit of $8,320 Why SPX options? Generally we trade options, and in this case SPX (S&P 500) options because they offer a high return, but are less risky than futures for SPX. One can trade SPX futures, SPDRs stocks, SPX options (as we did), or even SPX futures options. There are a wide array of trading vehicles which are tied to the S&P 500 index, and it's mostly up to the individual trader as to which they prefer to trade. Why buy expensive November Calls? Even though November Call options are more expensive, they tend of be less volatile in reaction to market swings, and they don't devalue as quickly as a current month option. By trading options which are at least one month ahead we protect ourselves from unforeseen short term fluctuations in the market. Also, if the uptrend continues on a long term, one can hold these options for a longer period as they increase substantially in value.
