Maybe an example would solve this
lets say  your system tells you to be long and you use 20   m/a  as your
stop loss,,
if market goes your way on the daily bar,, and  you are ahead  5000,,
by the time you get stopped out,, you lost 1/2 of your profit,,
using the Jerik,,  you get to keep  80%   of your profit,,
you can not achieve that with  20  13 and 9 on macd
nor can you achieve that with  20  ema
or even  15 ema
