Dear List,
Sorry to have joined this discussion so late in the game, but I just got
back in after a couple days and I would like to agree with the few
stout-hearted fellows who have had enough of Adrian's arrogance and sarcasm.
I don't know who the RT moderator is, but it seems at times something comes
through from Rtmoderator and others from BobsKC, if I remember correctly,
which is a chore at times.
But, one thing is sure. One of the members a couple of weeks ago made the
observation that there are certain members who can use sarcasm and flout the
rules with impunity. Well, the moderator came up and said it would not be
tolerated; and a couple of messages later, Adrian came up with his incessant
blather and sarcasm reigned supreme.
I don't know who Adrian is, but it is rather obvious that he is not very
intelligent, is not well read, may well not have English as his primary
language, has a contempt for the proper usage of the King's English and a
contempt for the members of this panel.
Comments like, "I'm sorry Clyde, I made an incorrect assumption that I was
dealing with a group of traders here that were above average in intelligence.
. ." and ". ..wipe out a few more suckers . . . " are inappropriate and
uncalled for.
He consistently misuses words like "their" for "they are" or "they're;"
"its" for the times when he means "it's" or "it is;" "your" instead of "you
are" or "you're." It shouldn't take him much time to check out a book on
English grammar and syntax and read a few paragraphs if he truly cared, but
he doesn't.
When Norman asked him about his definition of a "bear market," we got his
usual ramblings, as if he really knew something, rather than take the time to
look up a definition and recite it. Basically, it is my opinion that Adrian
just likes to talk and see his name in print on the net. Maybe he's trying to
generate a fan club of those who, like himself, do not know very much about
this game. I don't know, but I get rather tired of it since I at least open
and glance through almost all the messages.
Granted we can all learn from almost anyone. But, to post rules, and
comment about how they are really enforced and then ignore stuff like that,
is, well, not very professional.
Take care, all,
Larry Z . or to those who know me a little better,
Lovrenti Petrovich
