Dear Levent,
A predictor is one who predicts the future. A predicter is something
used to predict the future.
I believe the same holds true for indicator [one who indicates] and
indicater [something used to indicate].Same example as above in
context.
My conclusions are based upon Latin syntax incorporated into the
English language and I could find no clear distinction in my
dictionary. I believe daily useage has distorted the latter to the
point where they may be interchangeable.
I am no Rhodes scholar but that is my opinion.

Good points, suggestions and questions overall.
But, pray tell, is there a difference between "INDICATER"
and "INDICATOR"?
How about "COMMUNICATER"? Couldn't find that one in the dictionary
either
