attached. If the numbers to be totaled are in Colum A, beginning at cell
A2, then:

Method
1:
place
=A2 in cell B2
place
=B2+A3 in cell B3
fill
cell B3 all the way down column B for as many numbers as you need to
total
<SPAN
class=816125106-15072002>
Method
2:
place
=SUM($A$2:A2) in cell C2 (the dollar signs are important because they make
sure
the
reference to the beginning cell, $A$2 won't change when the formula is filled
down)
fill
cell C2 all the way down column C for as many numbers as you need to
total.

Does anyone know how to set up a spreadsheet in
excel that will add up my totals in a separate column creating a running
total? I keep track of the amount of points I made or lost that day and want
to set up a column that adds them up so I can create a graph of my equity
curve. It seems easy.....but its not, or maybe I am just a little slow
lately.
