Something else that popped into my
mind.
Recalling recent articles about Log Periodic
plots and work in predicting crashes, and thinking about the implications of
Clyde's interpretations of Hurst (more importantly, seeing how and when the
cycle lengths suddenly stabilize), when I stare at those last few cycles in my
previously posted chart, I cannot help but be struck at the way the sine
wave pattern is "clarifying", almost like a cyclic volatility, that as
described in those articles, appears to be reaching some peak of unity and
frequency at the same time.
My latest issue of The Bank Credit Analyst, has
been dutifully noting what they term an "odd" divergence between extreme
pessimism in investors as a whole (down to ~20% bullish), diverging with a
rising optimism level from individual investors.
Can't help but wonder if something big is about
to happen? The final capitulation that staggers even the best stalwarts of the
market?
My father, who lived though the depression
years, never in his life touched equities, such was his aversion to them... when
enough of our generation comes to the same conclusion, has the cycle finally
reached it's nadir?

Attached is 120 min chart of Naz Comp from
May 15 to today.
Interesting to see the intensity of bounces
grow before each subsequent breakdown. Polarization is
increasing.
This is the third major bounce now. Make or
break target 1336.
