You think Grubman was paid that kind of money as an analyst??
He was paid that kind of money as a de facto investment banker bringing
as a rainmaker drawing in companies (like WorldCom) for bond deals,
derivative hedging, etc. in exchange for his opinions about the firm.
I wonder how many people complaining about Grubman ever paid his firm 1$
in commissions? It seems to me, you get what you pay for...
