Yes, I'd recommend IB. I have used them for
several years now and have been very pleased with the ease of the user interface
and the speed of order transmission/acceptance. Just a couple of caveats - I've
heard that it can take quite a while to reach Customer Service, although I've
not experienced that and, secondly, any stop and stop/limit orders are held in
their computer until the stop is elected, not in the Globex Stop Computer. In
spite of some opinions to the contrary, I have very rarely been filled at a
worse price than my stop. However, what you should be aware of is that if IB
loses its connection to Globex, then the stop order will never be sent. For that
reason I keep an account at another broker. Now, if Globex goes down .... but
that's another horror story.
Hope that helps.
Andrew

Subject: [RT] emini brokers
I have started trading a lot more eminis than before and am looking into
low commission emini brokers. Any recommendations? Currently use Refco/LFG and
PFG. Any opinions on IB?
Thanks,
