some of the 18.1" flat panel monitors can achieve that kind of
resolution -- they are a bit pricey but the prices have come down in
the last 6 months.

i saw some sony 18.1" monitors at best buy for about $1K each.  i have
been considering getting some at that size for a multi-screen setup.

fwiw, i'm using an older 18.1" sony which cost me about $3K when i
bought it.  never regretted it.

shop around.
