Hello Ben,
One of two forks for NASDAQ, blue one, drawn back to March is still
holding and leads to September lows by July-September. (Consider white
fork too, it is steeper, though I am not a great specialist at forks).
As for reversal in QQQ, "white" scenario may suggest reversal at
median at 26.85 for today (~1500 nasdaq index), though it is difficult
to me to imagine 2-dollar drop in cubes for 1 day considering extreme
trin and tick values and huge run-up in vix we witnessed yesterday.
BTW, white channel is 3.5 dollar high (from median to mlh) what may be
in line with your $3 bounce scenario.
Meanwhile, NASDAQ index is right on blue median now... so, in my view,
it may suggest more realistic zone for reversal for today. We will see.
