Have you ever been told to try and see the other persons perspective?
Not all people think or act like you. In fact most probably don't. Can
you explain why you have to prove something to have a method that works?
I wonder if Warren Buffet actually backtested his views on the market
before he started investing? LOL Very few people on the planet John have
a software program that is capable of backtesting their ideas to PROVE
their method is profitable. Even of those who do have the required
software only a tiny % actually use it for rigorous analysis, mostly
because of lack of time, not enough skill and simply because they
couldn't be bothered.
Also, can you show me where I suggested Edison died a pauper? I always
get amused by people who choose to put their own slant on what someone
else said by adding completely new information changing what was said
completely. My respect for your words has dropped to about 1/10 now.
What a waste john.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with constructive criticism John from
my perspective. If only that is what you were offering...but nothing you
have said is constructive...only negative and showing you have totally
missed the point of the whole conversation.
