On intraday charts that box boundary(blue area on
the last post) provides suppor/resistance and when broken identifies the
begining of trend. It is called a value area by the market profile
folks. So far today the distributions on the SP and ND are pretty
normalized, so the key is to watch for a break of the blue/red
boundaries.

This current level of OEX is at the lower edge of a
concentration of monthlylows and value area boundaries going back to
October. A monthly bearishpattern still appears to be
intact. The May distribution is only halfcomplete and so far it
has a "normal" distribution with hardly any up ordown bias indicated so
far. Perhaps there is a very minor skew to
