As a follow up to the discussion of falling seat values the PCX (Pacific
Option Exchange) seat now leases for free from seat owners. The seat is
still subject to exchange fees and the Coast is currently assessing a
$750.00/month technology fee. CBOE leases have declined to the $1,000 +
range monthly. PCX seats are currently bid about $20,000 .. CBOE are
bouncing around $190,000. The fund showcased in the NY times article ....
Paul Liang's .. is currently worth between $8 and $9 million down from $75
million.
