Additional Virus ProtectionPreview pane is immaterial
... you can't delete the email without selectingit. The preview pane only
shows what is selected, it does not triggerexecution ... selecting it will

you can do if you are using Outlook Express and are worriedabout emails
with malicious files automatically executing without even beingopened -
switch off the preview pane. Right click on the OE toolbar,
choosecustomize and then select 'preview' from the list on the left and
add it tothe right sided list. Using this you can then toggle the preview
pane on andoff, and you can delete suspicious email without it being
previewed andperhaps executing malicious codeBobTo
