Some of you on the list bought Lee channels that I talked about earlier. One person contacted me with the question how to make it work not only in hindsight but projecting correctly into the future. The answer is you have to tweak it to a valid cycle length.
Latest tweak I came with is 120, 60, 30, PFI MODE 1. It may not be the final one, but it works well on projections, not only in hindsight, but also into the future.
Also keep in mind that those channels although significantly superior to BB and Keltner aren't the Holy Grail. Hurst combined them with other techniques to validate the signal. I use other techniques as well, but I believe that good number of successful trades can be made with those channels alone. This is definitely a good tool to have.
Yesterday one private trader from Florida contacted me. We chatted with Fred over the phone for more then an hour about all these good stuff.
He showed me his own cyclical models built according Hurst formulas. He programmed Hurst composites already and they are very effective. But he doesn't have them for sale.
Hope Lee will fill the gap in the code market. I think demand for such quality analytical tools is growing rapidly as some of more knowlegable traders becoming more competitive in the market place.
