As dtn users may or may not know, dtn is broadcasting the new highs and new
lows. Chameleon doesn't identify the exchange other than to say it is a
Statistic with DBID of 09000062 which TS2000 cannot plot because data only
appears in the TOTAL field. Even Chamelon can't plot the data. It might be
helpful to subscribers/traders in getting DTN to move this data to DBID of
09000070 DTN Calculated Indicators so TS and other software including
Chameleon can plot the data. When DTN does something like this I dig out
Chameleon and a customized version of MetServer to get at the root of the
problem. This configuration is not ideal, but does facilitate getting such
statistic data via DDE from Chameleon to MetaServer to TS2k via Signal GS.
The correct solution is for DTN - TS2k users to request that DTN reclassify
the NewHigh and NewLow symbols just as they did the issue and volume
statistics last year. DTN is broadcasting nhnl data for 7 exchanges or
classifications, 3 of which appear obvious. The others are a mystery.
Attached is an example of what the NHNL data looks like in realtime.
