Re: [RT] Sell signals

I would be more than happy to offer my
apology.

Steve, you have my apology...

Now, since my reasoning was strongly questioned,
let me explain... Neal asked a simple question:

"By 'covering' do you mean 'selling
out'?
Just to be clear since 'covering' usually refers
to shorts."

I found that qustion perfectly clear.  Neal
did NOT appear to be claiming that covering = entering a short
position...

However, if you feel that my poking gentle fun
might somehow intimidate someone with Steve's vast experience, then I stand
corrected.

Best regards, and good trading.

There are a lot of people out there that just lurk because they
don't want the verbal abuse put forth by some of the
members.    Those of you out there that have that question
lurking in the back of your mind, put it on the list.  The worst thing
that can happen is that you will get a inane answer from some, but there is
someone out there that will have the answer that you are looking for.
There are no stupid questions, just inadequate answers.   Ira.

Actually, Gene, I think you owe Steve the
apology.  He was kind enough to respond to some one who asked him what
    he meant by "Covering". <FONT
size=-1>While this may have been obvious to you, it may not have been to a
new trader.  By replying in the manor you did, you both let newbee's
know that basic questions are not welcome here (though they defiantly are)
and perhaps convinced Steve to not post here again (I hope
    not). Please remember that
some day it may be you asking the question. <FONT
