Today I received a private e-mail from the TheQuant
<thequant@xxxxxxxxx> that made vindictive and slanderous allegations
about the background of the moderator - BobsKC. There was no
trade-related content whatsoever in this e-mail.
This e-mail was far beyond any personal attack I've read in the
several years I've been subscribed to this list. I forwarded the
e-mail to the moderator so he was aware of what was written, with my
regrets.
Presumably we all agree that allegations about private backgrounds, or
personal lives, of people on this list are not appropriate - either
publicly or privately. Therefore I feel there is no alternative but
to recommend that TheQuant, who is almost certainly Mark Brown, be
permanently banned from the RealTraders list.
I personally feel that BobsKC has made a sign cant contribution as
moderator, and I hope he will continue in spite of this most
regrettable incident.
