Dear Ben:
I apologize for letting John Cappello's stupid spelling mistake (on a word
you really need to spell right) and continual lack of understanding of the
rules of the Internet spur me to vent my disdain for such actions. Further,
I promise not to question slanderous posts by any participants that may have
a chilling effect up the robust discussions we seek here on realtraders. I
promise to ignore the legal ramifications of slandering the work of system
developers who have been excommunicated from the list and thus unable to
defend themselves and their work, triggering a very important legal standard
for slander/libel. I will ignore this all because you have asked me in such
a nice way. And niceness is the realtraders way.
I am glad that we can freely suggest that public domain systems (capable of
being robustly independently tested) of excommunicated members are
curve-fitted after careful examination of large numbers of public domain
trading systems, without worrying about whether such suggestions are fair,
appropriate or ethical. I am especially glad that I can help to push system
developers off the realtraders list and then do the previous. I need not
worry about the personal ethics of such. And I am pleased that I may lie at
will, without ever having to support any of my comments with real facts.
This is all pleasing to me and I am so much cooler now that I have accepted
all of this because I am told to.
