norman, it's an interesting movie but one which you might be
disappointed with if you intend to watch it with an eye towards
gaining any insights about approaching markets. in my view, it's a
primarily a psychological study, and also uses a lot of film
techniques to get the most out of the film maker's budget. one
interpretation of the movie (a friend & i discussed this) was that the
action takes place entirely in the protagonist's imagination, that
there are NO people chasing him at all. open to interpretation.
not much market-related stuff in it, unless you count the evil people
who want his secret(s) to make money. & there really is not much math
in it. what math there is, is a bit hokey.
i can neither recommend or pan this film for you, since only you know
whether you enjoy artsy black & white films. i can say, though, i did
enjoy it, but thought it was a bit overrated.
