grrr... we are not going to worry about the length of posts right
now. We have just gone through a period of intense hacking away at
people for no reason whatever and if you or anyone wants to do a little,
"thanks for the fine job" or "your post really helped
me" .. so be it. lf a bandwidth problem begins to develop,
we'll deal with that when it happens.

Actually, we/I did not say such posts were inappropriate but rather that
they are a waste of bandwidth. Even so, bandwidth for a txt mail list is
so minimal that sans serious abuse of our list with "attaboy" and "me too",
we don't want to nit pick at people. Also, please, allow the team and, or,
myself to call members out for any abuse of any kind. To do so yourself
only invites a quarrel.
