As much as I'm for enforcement of restriction rules,
if the rule you mentioned is also to ban "thank you" posts
then I'd ask to reconsider it.
Obviously, it'd be preferred to address a message of thanks,
e.g. for sending data, advise, indicators, etc., privately rather
than using "reply".
It requires, however, a little more effort to find the other
person's address, especially if it is more than one, and may
discourage some people from taking such very civilized action.
I am therefore definitely for allowing "thank you" postings.
