See...now you had to get personal.

As for #2, I think humor is positive. I don't feel that responding to your
post in a serious way would have been worth anything because you would have
responded with a serious defense of S&R levels. Honestly, I don't feel that
my post was really much different from yours. "If the market goes up, it
will hit resistance. If the market goes down, it will hit support. It will
do this over the next few days/weeks." No kidding.

As for #3, take your own advice. "Please do not airyour pet peeves about my
posts to the whole group unless you are prepared to back it up with sound
due diligence and decorum."

Here's my list:

1. All details of my posts are either factual or opinion.

2. You may have opinions on my facts and opinions which you may wish to
present.

3. Your opinions may be really long and boring and have little content or
interest for anyone else on the list.

4. Please do not air your pet peeves about my posts to the list unless it
includes a really long disclaimer which you have already posted to the list
atleast once.

5. The sky is blue because it has water vapor in it.

6. Grass is green because the chlorophyl in the grass cannot use light in
the green wavelength to convert sunlight into proteins so that wavelength is
reflected back to us and we see green.

Dear Kent,

Please see item 2 and 3. I think they may refer to you perhaps,
maybe, and who knows or cares.

John

1. All details relative to my posts are factual and or based upon
opinon. Those differnces are usually specified. If I have or am going
to take a position in some area it will be so posted. As always do
your own due diligence.

2. You may have your own opinion in which I and others may be
intersted if presented in a positive way.

3. If there is a question , feel free to e-mail me direct and I will
help you understand what I am saying to the best of my ability.
Please do not airyour pet peeves about my posts to the whole group
unless you are prepared to back it up with sound due diligence and
decorum.

4. My posts are meant to be provocative and initiate discussion. This
may sometimes offend some who prefer “round about” discussion rather
than untested waters. I expect this and can deal.

5. My posts in general will cover these area:

A. S&P day trading

B. S/R associated with trades and T/A

C. The Split Meister-techn/fundamental evaluation of most recent
[usually within of a day announced] of splits greater than or = to 2
for 1.

D. From The Desk of My Analyst--Musings under a pseudonym of
someone who provides me with this information to share. He has decades
of experience ,offers no panaceas but rather meaningful observations
especially when combined with fundamentals.

E. Other miscellaneous items of lasting or passing interest including
beginner to advanced Asset Allocation and trading from which I may
draw upon the wealth of information on this forum.

I have found in the past that bashing, once permitted , develops into
a spreading disease as can be seen on the Omega forum and that is why
Iusually politely respond. Anyone who I see is a chronic offender of
myposts will no londer be responded to and may as well fire away into
cyberspace. You will know if that is the case if you merely receive an
e-mail of this Disclaimer and Sociable rules.

Likewise my posts are properly given subjects and bear my name. So
delete can always be in effect as I do when I am not interested in a
subject or a thread.

That’s my story and I am sticking to it. What many of you bashers
fail to realise is the time and effort that goes into preparing a
decent post whether on S/R, Day trading , stock trading or what have
you. It is very easy to just sit back and critique without thinking
or investigating or seeking further information.

>From here on out if anyone wants me to “prove anything” I request we
both post a $100,000 bond to an independent arbiter and winner take
all. By now most of you should know I come from a securities
background and as “keeper of a trading book” MY WORD IS MY BOND.

I will conclude with the words of Thomas Mann as written in his book
THE MAGIC MOUNTAIN “Order and simplification are the first steps
toward the mastery of a subject----the actual enemy is the unknown”.
