I don't presently use consolidation patterns in my trading but I am 
interested in developing an indicator for that purpose for the purposes of 
testing its effectiveness for shortterm trading (less than a month).  To 
answer your question: I use volume, stochastics, and moving averages to trade at 
the moment.
