1. That REFCO may be disreputable.
2. That Futures Magazine is FREE to traders and I have been paying
for it.
3. That my funds may be safer elsewhere than REFCO since I have been
receiving trades from old accounts not made by me from companies I
now know they acquired.

Futures Magazine is a trade magazine that's free for futures traders -
however every year you have to fill out a form to continue the free
subscription.
This contest was advertised in Futures Magazine - participation in the
contest requires opening an actual $15K account. Also the
competition is for 8 months. There are 2nd and 3rd place finishes.
